Some Random Hong Kong Shots

Hello My Dear Great Ones,

Hong Kong weather in January is great.  Cool in the morn, warms up to plus 25 ish, cools off in the evening.  It is a great time to enjoy the outdoors, go on hikes, or have a meal outside.  As usual, despite the length of my time in Hong Kong, there are always surprises.  Here are is a small sample:

Laundry outside of a house in my village.  Chinese near is coming up so the lanterns are out.

A kebab endorsed by Merkel?  It must be good.  Located on Hong Kong island.

Hiking is very popular.  Here is a massive lineup at the end of a day of hikers waiting for a bus or taxi home.

Sunsets can be pretty special.  Recently Celia and I hiked up onto Tai Mo Shan to watch the sunset.  As the pictures will prove it was worth the effort...
