Life with my wife.

Hello My Dear Great Ones,

Life with my wife, Celia, is pretty fine,
When she is not around I wallow in pity and whine,
She has a world class smile,
Worth more than a gold pile,
Yes life with my wife, Celia, is pretty fine

Where it all began.  Wedding spot.  Gold coast.  Under the bogainvilleas! Hong Kong

One of our most favorite places ever.  The rooftop. Hong Kong

Wandeirng Interesting Streets

Hello My Dear Great Ones,
One of my favorite things to do when I visit another country is to  wander around the streets of a city or town.  For me it is an interesting cultural experience and gives you a great insight of a culture.  Here are a few streets I wandered around in Nazareth and Jerusalem.

Have a great week everyone!

I love Hong Kong

My Dear Great Ones,
I love Hong Kong.  Eight years on and I still feel like I am a kid at a new playground that is thrilled with trying something new and exciting.  I am never bored in HK.  Challenged at times by it? Sure.  Aggravated at times by some of HK's inane cultural values?  Sure.  Amazed? Every day!  Here are a few reasons why:

The most amazing skyline in the World.  It is a wow!

Yet on outlying islands are fallen down relics of homes in dire need of a bulldozer or a reno.

Many people are crammed into tiny apartments high with views such as this one.  Not good!

Lots of fancy cars in Hong Kong.  Yet there is an odd random biker to make you smile.

Nearby on an island are lovely fishing restaurants and quaint boots to ferry people hither and yon.

One shopping district has these amazing lanterns hanging overhead.  Cool.

So typical of Hong Kong.  Fresh seafood on ice or alive at reasonable prices.

Durian.  The stinkiest fruit on earth.  Yet many HKers love it.  And it is supposed to be good for you.  For now I can only handle it in ice cream form.

An election rally.  Noisy and very busy.

Lots of monkeys frolic in the forests of Hong Kong.

An old bike still finds use today.
And finally what makes Hong Kong really great are the nature parks.  70% of the territory is life giving nature.  Amen.

Have a great week!

Love adios and ping on!
