Artsy HK

Hello My Dear Great Ones,
Art is in the eye of the beholder.  Below are some photos taken in HK which I consider artistic. ..

Funky street...
Some graffiti...
Bruce Lee...
Figurines including Mao....
All the teapots in China...
Old views of Hong Kong...

Taking it easy...
Mickey?.....
A lion I think....
Chairman Mao...
\

Urban jungle....

Natural wonder....

Note the guy on the rooftop....

October 1st is China's national holiday.  It is also an annual day of prayer for Hong Kong.  Pray for Hong Kong.

Have a good week.

Love adios and ping on!

Green Therapy

"Staying close to nature improves physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. It makes us feel alive from the inside, and we should not compromise it for recent developments like urbanization, technology, or social media."

Hello My Dear Great Ones,
Celia and I are so thankful to live on the edge of nature.  It has been an awesome respite from the stress of covid, school, etc.  Here are a few shots of our "backyard," a place which has truly helped us improve our physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

Have a great week everyone!

Love adios and ping on!

Hello My Dear Great Ones,
Hong Kong is emerging from the third wave of covid and things are slowly going back to normal.  Until the fourth wave.  There is also the little matter of the National Security Law.  It feels in a way like the beginning of the end for the Hong Kong I really love.  However, when you look close enough there is always some charming, fun thing about HK that helps you move on through your day.  Such as:

Cows blocking your bike trip.

Charming open air markets...

Little passageways with obscure shops selling obscure things...

Tight alley ways full of parked motorbikes...

Tiny restaurants with covid shields and people attempting to social distance.

Tongue in cheek Mao figurines...

Coffee shops are still getting people out.

Lone shop keepers wiling away the day...

Lots of knick knacks to be had...

Charming narrow streets to explore....

Have a great week everyone.

Love adios and ping on!
