My Dear Great Ones,
Below are 6 pictures of things and places you may never have seen before. I have been in Hong Kong for three years already and a day rarely passes without me seeing something new and unique here. For example:
A two table restaurant, opening onto a narrow walkway. Its like someones dining room with a wall torn off. A book case with books and wine bottles make up one wall, while a chalk board listing whats on the menu is on another. Jazzy music gives it some ambiance. This restaurant is actually an extension of a place called the Book Worm Cafe. Located on funky Lamma island, you can spend the day reading a book while sipping wine or coffee. This picture was taken in the evening when the temp got down to plus 28. It's a tough life...
Many of China's rules are treated as suggestions. There were several people sitting underneath this sign.
This chair for Gullivar was found in a mall called Elements. Note life sized kids. Why were flowers put on the chair you ask? Maybe as a decoration and to keep people off.
A chapel located by a honeymoon hotel in Discovery Bay which is located on Lantau island. The chapel is surrounded by a pond. The metal tree in front has steel birds. More on this chapel next week.
A mac store in Hong Kong at 7:00 pm Saturday night. Get a life people. Read a book!
Horseshoe crabs in front of a seafood restaurant in Sai kung. A tourist attraction for sure.
Have a great week.
Love adios and peng on!
Dirk
