Biking in Shatin

Hello My Dear Great Ones,
The Shatin bike trail that follows the Shing Mun River (at one time considered one of the dirtiest bodies of water in the world) is a beauty.  Nice well marked trail, with great vegetation and facilities it is a beauty.  The othe day Celia and I spent some time on this beauty.  Here are a few pics from the go pro:

Biking is always interesting in HK due to odd bikes and characters along the trail.
 

Dragon boats.

Note friendly filipina and sheets drying on the bridge railing.  People do it all the time, hanging their laundry in public places.
 

Running track beside the bike trail.  Beauty.
 

The bike trail comes up to a pier which is great for taking a break to cool off.  Floating in the ocean.  Ahhhhhh

Buddy was floating around with an umbrella.  Hmmm.

 

Along the trail is the excellent Heritage Museum. Celia and I went in to check out an exhibit from the Louvre, Paris.
