Hello Dear Most Excellent Ones,
As most of you know I work at Christian Alliance International School (CAIS) located in charming Kowloon. It's the city across Victoria harbour from Hong Kong. FYI Kowloon is on a peninsula, whilst Hong Kong is on an island, called Hong Kong. I digress. Anyway CAIS has two campuses, the main one located in Kowloon City houses the grade 4-12's while the Lai Yiu campuses located up the hill from the Lai King MTR station, near the Hong Kong docks, has the kindergarteners, hereafter known as preparatory or preps and the grades 1-3. This campus is called the fun campus, namely because there are several "fun," teachers who have actually formed a fun committee. This fun committee organized a colour day last Friday. The preps wore yellow, the grade ones red, the grade two green, and the grade three blue. Teachers of those grades joined in by wearing their grade's colour. Meanwhile the office staff wore pink, the teacher assistants wore white, and the speciality teachers, PE, Mandarin, Art, Music teachers wore orange. As the pictures will attest, it made for an interesting day.
Have a Great Week.
Love adios and ping on!
Dirk
