Hello Most Excellent Ones,
In my travels over the last few years I have seen some wonderful manmade and natural sites. For that I am very grateful. Yet, the best part of travelling for me are the people. There are many, many great people out there and they all have interesting faces. In fact, in their own way, they are all beautiful. Here are a few "face" quotes, which I thought were quite profound:
Did I offer peace today? Did I bring a smile to someone's face? Did I say words of healing? Did I let go of my anger and resentment? Did I forgive? Did I love?' These are the real questions. I must trust that the little bit of love that I sow now will be many fruits, here in this world and the life to come.
What gives me the most hope every day is God's grace; knowing that his grace is going to give me the strength for whatever I face, knowing that nothing is a surprise to God.
Keep your face always toward the sunshine - and shadows will fall behind you.
I think a big test we all face in life on a regular basis is that discouragement test. Life's not always fair, but I believe if you keep doing the right thing, God will get you to where you are.
What a privilege to be here on the planet to contribute your unique donation to humankind. Each face in the rainbow of colors that populate our world is precious and special.
The face is the mirror of the mind, and eyes without speaking confess the secrets of the heart.
Hard.
Humble.
Amused.
Comfortable
Contemplative.
