My Dear Great Ones,
Sven certainly got a good workout during his week off. We did a 2.5 hour walk around the Shing Mun reservoir during a time when it had just rained. Best time to go. Sven thought the reservoir walk would be a 45 minute FLAT meander near the water. Opps. I forgot to tell him about all the hills and that the trail goes quite a distance away from the water. Nevertheless, at the end, after all the griping Sven admitted it was a great walk.
Some beautiful scenery:
Interesting trees:
Paper bark tree is awesome.
There was also some wildlife to wonder at:
Survived and still smiling.
A week later we had a day off and took Sven up to Tai Mo Shan. The tallest mountain in the Hong Kong territory.
Sven was expecting some flat, easy walking again. Sadly mistaken. But once up in the hills all was forgotten.
View of Yuen Long (Hong Kong) and Shenzhen, China in the background.
Sven marveling the view.

Note the spider.

Celia and us enjoying the views of Yuen Long and Shenzhen:
We then went up to the Ozone on top of the IFC. Great views:
Have a great week.
Love adios and ping on!
