Howdy,
One of the interesting features of Hong Kong is a thing called the Wet Market. These are open air markets which as you will note from the pictures can be kind of gross. Meat is hung up freely and fish, dead and alive are offered as well. The vegetable and fruit stands are pretty good cause it is cheap and fresh. Not sure why the markets are called Wet, maybe it has to do with the fish but they are everywhere throughout Kowloon and Hong Kong. There are some normal supermarkets as well, yet they are kind of small and space is tight. It took a while to develop some nimbleness to navigate through those stores. Any ways this week is a short entry. Pictures are worth a thousand words.
